The founder, Julia Maryam, reverted to Islam in 2020 and discovered a deep love for hijab and modest dressing. Inspired by the confidence and serenity it brought her, she wanted every woman to experience that same effortless connection. Every piece is crafted with soft fabrics and thoughtful details, designed to move beautifully, feel comfortable on the skin, and let your confidence and grace shine. The name Sakinour comes from “Sakinah,” meaning serenity, and “Nour,” meaning light, a reflection of the calm, radiant feeling each creation evokes. The slogan *la beauté en douceur*, meaning “the beauty in softness,” perfectly embodies the brand’s philosophy of being gentle, thoughtful, and timeless. Sakinour’s mission is to create modest fashion that celebrates comfort, elegance, and quiet confidence, allowing every woman to feel seen, valued, and inspired in what she wears.
